9/11 Memorial

To mark the 10 year anniversary of 9/11, Lift up Southfield! organized a Southfield community interfaith worship service honoring our common journey. It was held on Sunday, September 11, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at Congregation Shaarey Zedek, 27375 Bell Road, in Southfield. Featured speakers were Rev. William A. Walker, Rabbi Joseph H. Krakoff, and Iman Steve Mustapha Elturk.

Forgotten Harvest Outreach

Lift Up Southfield! invites everyone to join us for our 2nd annual Forgotten Harvest outreach event. Join us on Sunday, March 18 from 1pm to 4pm at Forgotten Harvest at 21800 Greenfield Road. We will begin with lunch ($5) in a buffet style that will allow us to get to know one another, followed by side-by-side work in the heated warehouse sorting food for the hungry.
